This is a lovely opportunity for a professional nanny who enjoys working within a structured home environment, supporting learning and routines, and becoming a valued and trusted part of family life. The family are expecting a new baby in July, so experience with babies and young children will be highly beneficial.

About the Children
The family has two happy, well-mannered children who are in good routines and enjoy creative play, learning activities, and time outdoors. They are affectionate, engaged, and respond well to consistent boundaries and gentle guidance.
The eldest child is caring and responsible, with a strong sense of independence and enjoys helping with daily routines. She benefits from encouragement with reading and structured learning activities.
The younger child is energetic and playful, enjoying scooter rides, imaginative play, and interactive games.
A new baby is due in July, and the family would welcome a nanny who is confident supporting newborn routines and working alongside parents during this exciting transition.

Working Schedule
Monday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
Wednesday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
Thursday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
Friday: 11:00am – 7:00pm
Saturday: 3:00pm – 9:00pm
Some flexibility may occasionally be required to support appointments, school events, or family commitments.

Key Responsibilities
This role offers a varied and rewarding mix of childcare and child-related household responsibilities. The nanny will play an important role in supporting the children’s daily routines, development, and wellbeing.
Childcare Responsibilities:
• Collecting the children from school and providing attentive after-school care
• Supporting structured daily routines, including transitions between activities
• Planning engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage creativity and development
• Supporting early learning, reading practice, homework, and educational activities
• Encouraging positive behaviour and maintaining clear, consistent boundaries
• Supporting children’s emotional wellbeing and confidence
• Preparing nutritious meals and snacks for the children
• Supporting baby weaning and feeding routines when appropriate
• Managing evening routines, including bath time, pyjamas, and settling the children for bed
• Supervising play, outings, and activities in a safe and nurturing manner
• Supporting children’s personal care and hygiene routines
Educational and Development Support:
• Supporting reading, spelling, and homework in a fun and engaging way
• Encouraging learning through play and structured activities
• Supporting school readiness and routine preparation
• Reinforcing positive learning habits and independence
Household and Organisation Duties:
• Maintaining a clean, organised environment for the children
• Keeping toys, bedrooms, and play areas tidy and well organised
• Preparing children’s meals and snacks
• Managing children’s laundry and ironing
• Organising school bags, uniforms, and activity equipment
• Supporting household routines and daily organisation
• Assisting with preparing items for school, activities, and outings
• Supporting family routines during busy periods
• Working collaboratively with parents to ensure consistency in routines and expectations
