Salary/Wage: Weekday Waking Night: £197.76 | Saturday Sleeping Night: £166.86 | Sunday Sleeping Night: £161.16 (all gross per shift)
Driving Requirements: Not applicable
Essential: Experience working waking night shifts and manual handling
Desirable: Experience in mini button / PEG management and working within a family home

Days & Hours: Monday and Wednesday, waking nights, 8.00pm–8.00am. Optional weekend sleeping night overtime available

About the Client
Frankie is 9 and lives with his parents and two younger sisters. He is sociable, determined and full of personality, with a busy lifestyle and wide range of interests including music, games, walks and spending time with family. Frankie has epilepsy and quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy. He uses Eye Gaze Technology and PECs to communicate and receives all nutrition, fluids and medication via a mini button PEG. He is supported 2:1 by a dedicated care team.

The Role at a Glance
This is an active waking night role. You will begin with a handover before supporting Frankie overnight, including medication administration, PEG management and completing logs. His sleep can vary—some nights require bedside support, others allow time for tasks such as laundry, cleaning equipment and restocking supplies (with monitoring in place). A sleeping night carer is also present for additional support if required. Extra weekend night shifts are available but optional.

This Job Would Suit
A compassionate, reliable and skilled Waking Night Carer with strong communication skills and manual handling experience. You will be dedicated to supporting young people and confident working within a care team.
