# Full-time Nanny, White City, Up to £50k, ASAP start
*This is a warm, busy, and welcoming household in West London seeking a long-term nanny to become part of their home. The role is a shared-care position alongside mum, supported by a full-time housekeeper, ensuring a collaborative and well-organised environment.
The family have a 4-year-old son, starting school in September, and are expecting a newborn in June. The role will evolve over time, initially focusing on the older child, with a gradual transition to include the baby following the support of a maternity nurse in the first three months.
They are looking for someone who can integrate naturally into a relaxed yet structured home, confident in managing routines while working closely with mum. Their son is sociable and enjoys outdoor play, water activities, Lego, arts and crafts, and play-based learning, as well as playdates and outings.*
### Role Overview
- White City, London
- Start Date: ASAP
- Monday to Friday, 50 hours per week (8:00am – 6:00pm, gradually moving to 9am - 7pm)
- Two children: newborn (due June) and 4 years old
- Mixture of shared care and sole charge
Occasional additional hours, weekend cover, or travel with the family may be required by prior agreement.
### Core Responsibilities
- Full care of both children, including welfare, development, health, and safety
- Engaged supervision and active play
- Supporting development through creative activities, exercise, and learning
- Managing routines including school runs, meals, bath time, and bedtime
- Encouraging independence and age-appropriate responsibilities
- Supporting emotional development, positive behaviour, and good manners
- Creating a calm, nurturing, and structured environment
- Caring for children when unwell and administering medication (with parental agreement)
- Keeping parents informed daily on routines and progress
School & Activities
- School and nursery pick-ups and drop-offs
- Taking the child to weekly swimming lessons
- Organising playdates, outings, and activities
- Preparing for trips and activities
Child-Related Household Duties
- Preparing healthy, varied meals (including weaning and meal planning)
- Keeping kitchen and child-related areas clean and tidy
- Maintaining organisation of bedrooms, bathrooms, toys, and nursery
- Children’s laundry and bedding
- Shopping for children’s needs
