We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a warm and welcoming family based in Richmond, seeking an experienced and nurturing nanny to care for their baby boy, who will be aged one year old when the role starts.

This is a sole charge position working Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 7:30am to 6:00pm, with the possibility of an earlier finish on days when Mum arrives home sooner — Mum does work from home one day per week.

The family are looking for an experienced Nanny who is kind, loving and warm, and who will approach every day with enthusiasm and care. The successful candidate will have excellent and verifiable references verifying baby care experience, along with recent experience caring for a baby of a similar age.

Days will be filled with local baby activities/groups, trips to the park, singing, talking, reading and play — all with a focus on supporting this little boy's development and keeping him happy, engaged and thriving.

A passion for preparing fresh, home-cooked meals for baby is essential, as is a willingness to keep Mum updated throughout the day with photos and snippets of their adventures together.

The family have a small dog, no dog care is required, but you must be at ease around dogs.

Driving is not required for this role.

The position starts in July with a handover period during this period.

Salary: £20–21 gross per hour.

There is also the option of an additional half day, bringing the total to 35 hours per week, and the potential for the role to grow to four days within around six months. (Not guaranteed at this stage).

A knowledge of Flemish or Spanish would be a bonus, as the family have international roots — though this is by no means a requirement and all experienced candidates are warmly encouraged to apply.
