Job Title: English-Speaking Nanny (Live-Out) – Bordeaux, France

Overview:

A warm and welcoming family based in Bordeaux is seeking a dedicated, English-speaking nanny to care for their three young children: two boys aged 4 and 2.5, and a baby girl aged 8 months. The family is looking for someone nurturing yet firm, who can establish healthy boundaries while creating a fun, structured, and engaging environment for the children.

Language Requirements:
Native or fluent English speaker (essential)
Basic understanding of French preferred (to support daily life), but the nanny should speak exclusively English with the children

Working Hours:
Until June: 08:15 – 18:15
From June onwards: 08:30 – 18:30

Key Responsibilities:
Full care of all three children, including age-appropriate activities and outings
Supporting the baby’s routine (morning and afternoon naps, feeding, development)
School/nursery runs:
Dropping off the middle child at nursery (9:30–10:00) until June
From September, father will handle morning drop-offs
Afternoon pick-ups: eldest at 16:30, middle child at 16:40 (walking distance)
Wednesdays (from September): earlier pick-up at 13:30 from bilingual school (bus or travel required)
Planning stimulating activities, particularly outdoor play (garden, park, library, etc.)
Preparing children’s dinner and having meals ready for 18:30
Evening routine: bath time, pyjamas, and wind-down
Managing all child-related household duties:
Children’s laundry
Tidying toys and play areas
Keeping children’s spaces clean and organised
Preparing suitcases for family trips when needed
Additional Support:
The children’s godfather is present at least twice a week in the late afternoon to assist. The nanny should be comfortable working collaboratively and coordinating with him.
