Our client is looking for a warm, energetic, and experienced temporary daily nanny to support a fully staffed household alongside the family’s existing nanny while they are in London. This is not a sole-charge role, as the family already employs a nanny responsible for feeding, changing, and core childcare duties.
The nanny will focus on enrichment, outings, and developmental play, creating enjoyable and stimulating daily experiences for the child while the family is in London. The family is looking for someone who will genuinely engage with their daughter and bring fun and creativity to her day.
Responsibilities will include planning fun, age-appropriate daily activities; organising outings across London; and accompanying the child (alongside the existing nanny) to museums, the zoo, parks, picnics, classes, and play spaces. You will encourage outdoor play and active engagement, and support development through reading, storytelling, creative play, and other stimulating activities. You will ensure the daily schedule remains engaging and varied, adapting plans depending on the weather, family plans, and travel.
The ideal nanny will bring creativity, initiative, and a genuine passion for early years development, ensuring each day is varied, engaging, and developmentally appropriate. You will be fluent in English and ideally Montessori-trained or hold a relevant early years qualification, with excellent experience caring for toddlers. A strong knowledge of London and child-friendly activities is essential.
You will be organised, proactive, and imaginative, with plenty of energy and a polished, professional approach. Flexibility with hours and schedule changes is important, as is the ability to work as a strong team player alongside the existing nanny and in partnership with the parents. This is a live-out role, so candidates must be able to commute daily to St John’s Wood.
