On behalf of a lovely client, we are looking for a warm, experienced and reliable Housekeeper/Nanny to join a lovely private household. The role will be divided as 70% housekeeping and 30% nannying. Our client has a 6-week-old baby and requires someone who is comfortable being around a young infant and providing childcare support as needed, in addition to their core housekeeping and cleaning duties. The household also has two cats.

Days of work: Monday – Friday
Hours: 20-25hrs per week (Flexible schedule can be accommodated for the right candidate)
4 hours per day e.g. 8:00AM–12:00PM or 1PM – 5PM.

Responsibilities and Duties:
General housekeeping and cleaning throughout the home to a high standard
Laundry, ironing and clothes care
Tidying and organisation of household spaces
Light kitchen duties including washing up and keeping the kitchen clean
Childcare support for baby (6 weeks old), as required by the family
Being comfortable and confident around a young baby, including basic newborn care routines
Being mindful of and comfortable with the family's two cats
Shopping for household essentials and running household errands as needed

Requirements:
Valid DBS check (enhanced, or willingness to obtain one)
Paediatric First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
Experience working around young babies and an understanding of their needs

Start date: ASAP
Per hour rate: £20 – 22 gross per hour (negotiable for the right candidate)

Unless otherwise specified, a minimum of 2 years' relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
