Live-in Summer Housekeeper / Family Assistant (Student-Friendly Role)

We are a warm family based in Whetstone, North London, looking for a live-in helper over the summer. We live in a spacious house with a garden, well positioned for transport into central London, with lots of amenities within a 5-minute walk.

This role is primarily to support the smooth running of our home and would suit someone practical, proactive and happy with household tasks.

The role includes:

Laundry, tidying, dishwasher, and general household help
Basic meal prep
Helping keep the home running day-to-day
Being an extra pair of hands during the school holidays
Being comfortable with pets and helping care for our dog, cat and bearded dragon

We have two boys who are both neurodiverse, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable being part of a loving and supportive neurodiverse household, and happy to engage when it feels right, without any pressure or expectation of constant interaction. A calm, low-demand approach works best in our home.

Comfortable in a family environment
Happy around animals

Experience with children is welcome but not essential.

We are ideally looking for someone from late May / early June through to late August / early September, although we can be flexible for the right person.

Hours: Approximately 25–35 hours per week, with flexibility across the week. This is a relaxed, live-in role with a mix of busier and quieter days.

Salary: £200–£300 per week depending on experience, plus full board and accommodation.
