We are looking for a genuine loving nanny who has a laid back, positive approach, is very caring and active with at least 6 years’ experience working with pre-school children. The family have an adorable 3-year-old little boy and would love to find a relaxed nanny who can work on three days a week (Monday to Wednesday) to take care of their inquisitive and very active son. They also have a friendly large (mix breed) softie dog who their son adores so you need to be comfortable around dogs. No dog care is needed as they have someone who takes him out.

Their current nanny who we placed with the family almost 2 years ago is going off on maternity leave for 6 months. The family will be travelling in January so the role will start in early June and finish before Christmas.

The parents are so lovely, easy going, understanding, and supportive and would like to find a nanny who can work in partnership with them with caring for their son and help him to reach all his developmental milestones, whilst actively engage with him. Their priority is that he is happy, always feels loved and secure in your care. They also want him to continue socialising with all his friends and for their nanny to take him to activities in the local area and around London. He attends a lovely class and goes to a regular playgroup on two of the days and they want their temporary nanny to be adventurous and confident to take him out to explore. He loves his scooter, bike, playing football, tennis and golf!

They would like a nanny who genuinely loves her job and is passionate about working with three-year-olds. The parents value a nanny who can be flexible, independent, loving and have a firm yet fair, empathetic approach, getting down to the child’s level.

They are looking for someone who has a fluent level of English and it is essential you can easily commute to Shoreditch, E2.

LOCATION: Shoreditch, E2

START: ASAP

DAYS: 3 days per week (Monday-Wednesday)

HOURS: TOTAL = 30 PER WEEK - 8 am to 6 pm

SALARY: Excellent gross market rate salary depending on experience

REQUIREMENTS:
• Previous experience as a nanny working with pre-school age children
• Hardworking, motivated, responsible, reliable attitude
• Organise playdates and plan educational, fun child led activities
• Able to engage in a positive, proactive way
• Set clear boundaries, prioritising creating a loving and safe environment
• Foster open communication and learning opportunities for the child
• Commit for the 6-month contract and be very reliable
• Organised and tidy, managing time well
• Comfortable with large friendly dogs (no pet care)
• Fluent English

DUTIES:
• Cook fresh healthy varied meals for the child
• Take him to parks and local activities
• Stimulate his social development through conversation and play
• Plan and arrange playdates, organise and book classes and activities
• Focus on supporting his development, getting him ready for school in Sept 2027
• All basic nursery duties if there is time (they have a cleaner that comes to do deep cleaning
• Stimulate through play, music, books, art, physical activities
• Additional babysitting (if available) on an ad hoc basis would be a bonus
