The ideal candidate will be experienced, discreet, health-conscious, and confident in supporting both newborn care and maternal recovery while maintaining clear professional boundaries.

Role Overview
The family is looking for a professional Daily Maternity Nurse with several years of proven newborn experience.

The role will include full support with newborn care, maternal recovery, daily routines, and preparation of light, nutritious meals adapted to the mother’s dietary sensitivities.

The candidate must be discreet, respectful, focused on her duties, and able to communicate professional childcare guidance clearly within the household.

Main Responsibilities
Maternity / Newborn Duties
Full newborn care during working hours.

Soothing and settling the baby.

Feeding support.

Bottle preparation and sterilising if applicable.

Nappy changing.

Daily bathing.

Monitoring the baby’s health, feeding, sleep, and development.

Supporting safe newborn routines.

Observing and reporting any concerns to the parents.

Communicating professional childcare guidance clearly and calmly.

Supporting elder family members with evidence-based newborn care advice when needed.

Maternal Support / Recovery Duties
Supporting the mother’s recovery during the postnatal period.

Preparing light, nutritious, and balanced meals.

Respecting the mother’s dietary restrictions strictly.

Avoiding strong flavours, heavy seasoning, and oily food.

No fermented red bean curd / Nan Ru.

No Pig’s Trotter in Ginger Vinegar / Zhu Jiao Jiang.

No heavy oil or heavy seasoning.

Maintaining a calm and supportive environment.

Respecting the mother’s preferences and sensitivities.

Child-related Housekeeping
Keeping the baby’s areas clean and organised.

Baby laundry.

Sterilising bottles and feeding equipment.

Keeping changing and bathing areas tidy.

Maintaining hygiene standards around newborn care.

No deep cleaning.

No general housekeeping unrelated to the baby or maternity duties.

Professional Boundaries
Remain focused on newborn and maternity duties.

Maintain discretion at all times.

Avoid involvement in private family matters.

Requirements
Several years of proven experience as a Maternity Nurse.

Strong newborn care experience.

Experience supporting maternal recovery and postnatal care.

Knowledge of light, nutritious, and balanced postnatal meals.

Able to follow strict dietary requirements.

Health-conscious approach.

Excellent hygiene standards.

Professional, discreet, and respectful.

Strong sense of boundaries.
