Part-Time Temporary Nanny – Thursdays & Fridays (11am–5pm)

We are looking for a warm, reliable and engaging nanny to support our family on a temporary basis for approximately 7 months.

Hours:
• Thursdays and Fridays
• 11:00am–5:00pm
• 12 hours per week total

About us:
We are a friendly family with two children – a just turned 1 year old and a 5-year-old. Both parents work from home and will be around during the day, so this is a shared environment rather than sole charge throughout.

We’re looking for someone kind, proactive and genuinely engaging who enjoys creating a fun, nurturing and stimulating environment for children.

Responsibilities may include:
• Caring for and engaging with both children
• Potential school pick-up for our older child
• Planning fun, age-appropriate activities for both children
• Supporting learning and development through play and interaction
• Encouraging outdoor play, crafts, games and engaging activities where appropriate
• Keeping play areas tidy after activities
• During the baby's afternoon nap, using quieter periods proactively to help tidy toys, rotate toys and set up new activities or play invitations for the children
• Helping create a calm, caring and positive environment
• General childcare-related tasks

We are looking for someone who:
• Has experience caring for babies and young children
• Is warm, patient and dependable
• Is happy working in a home where a parent is present and working from home
• Is proactive and enjoys taking initiative
• Enjoys planning activities and creating engaging play opportunities
• DBS and relevant references preferred
