A lovely family based in Clapham are looking for a qualified nanny to care for their two boys aged one and three. The role will ideally begin from June 9th, working Wednesdays and Fridays. Wednesday hours will be 8am to 7pm and Fridays will be 8.30am to 4.30pm. From September 8th, the role will increase to five days a week, with hours Monday to Thursday from 1pm to 6.30pm and Fridays from 1pm to 4.30pm. However the family may also be able to offer full-time hours at this point, if the role is going well and the nanny would like additional hours.
The family is looking for someone patient, proactive and fun with good judgement with the ability to use their initiative being a must. As the role involves caring for two energetic young boys, it can be physically demanding, so they would love someone with an energetic and active nature, as well as being fun loving.
Duties will include all standard nursery duties such as preparing breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, managing nap and bath time routines, organising age-appropriate activities, taking the children on local outings and fun trips, and nursery collections.
A nanny local to Clapham is very important, and driving is preferred but not essential. The salary on offer is between £20 and £22 gross per hour.
This is sole charge role, although the parents work from home on Fridays. The family also has one hypoallergenic dog. No travel is required with the position.
