A family based in Fulham, SW6, is looking for a French-speaking after-school nanny or manny to join them from September 2026. The main responsibility will be caring for their 8-year-old son after school, including school pick-up, swimming and the evening routine.

Children
Three children:
Two girls aged 13 and 12, who travel home independently by bus and who require minimal childcare
One boy aged 8, who will be the nanny/manny’s main responsibility

Working Hours
Monday to Friday
3:00pm to 7:00pm during term time
20 hours per week during term time

During school holidays, the family can offer full-time hours if desired. Alternatively, the nanny/manny may continue working 20 hours per week or work during term time only, depending on their preference and the final arrangement with the family.

Salary
£19 – £22 gross per hour
£380 – £440 gross per week based on 20 hours per week
A higher weekly salary will apply during school holidays if full-time hours are agreed
The final weekly salary will depend on the number of hours worked and the agreed holiday arrangement

Role Overview
The nanny/manny will be responsible for collecting the 8-year-old boy from school, taking him to swimming and supporting his after-school and evening routine. The older children are independent and do not require school collection or direct supervision. The role also includes preparing the children’s evening meal using Gousto recipe boxes, with ingredients and instructions provided.

Nanny Duties

Ensuring he has everything required for swimming
Supervising him after school
Preparing and serving the children’s evening meal
Following the Gousto recipes provided by the family
Supporting a calm and organised evening routine
Encouraging good manners and independence
Keeping the parents informed regarding the child’s afternoon and activities

Child-Related Housekeeping
Keeping the children’s kitchen and dining areas tidy after meals
Tidying away items used during working hours
Organising the 8-year-old child’s school and swimming belongings
Loading or unloading items used for the children where required
No deep cleaning

Requirements
French-speaking nanny or manny
Good level of English
Previous experience caring for school-aged children
Reliable, organised and confident with school pick-ups and activities
Confident preparing simple meals by following provided recipes
Must be comfortable with dogs
Enhanced DBS check required
Paediatric First Aid certificate required
Right to Work in the UK
