Au Pair
Hello! We are a friendly family living in a safe and leafy part of south-west London with lots of parks, facilities and transport connections. We have two kind and smart boys (2 years and 5 years) who enjoy playing outside, stories, games and eating(!). Our current au pair is starting university so we are looking for someone to join our family at the end of August / early September 2026. We have loved having an au pair and know what works best for us. We are looking for someone with great energy who enjoys playing with the boys, wants to be part of the family but also enjoys their own space at the end of the day. You should have previous childcare/educational experience with young kids/toddlers. It is important that you are proactive and well organised as we are busy household which is a lot of fun.
We live in a really friendly area with lots of other au pairs - and only five minute walk to the nearest tube station, lots of parks and commons, and sports facilities. Please only get in touch if you have the right to work legally in the UK. We are particularly keen to hear from au pairs already in the UK so we can meet in person.
We are working parents (full time Mon-Fri) with two fantastic boys. The oldest boy will be starting Year 1 at school and the toddler is at nursery five days per week for one more year. The school and nursery are only a 5min walk from our house. We don't have any pets to worry about!
We live in a leafy part of SW London which is well connected by the tube, buses and trains. There are a lot of au pairs in the area. Our current au pair also does ad hoc local dog walking and babysitting for other families. She also has a great network of friends who are au pairs.
We live in a three storey, four bedroom house with two bathrooms. You will have your own bedroom with a TV and a double bed. You will share the bathroom with the boys. There is air conditioning in all communal spaces.
We like to take trips at the weekend which you would be very welcome to join. We also enjoy playing games in the local park and having BBQs at home with friends. Generally, we like travel, food, music, arts, politics.
Responsibilities will include: Morning - getting the boys up and ready for drop off Daytime - free time Afternoon - picking the boys up, playing with them, preparing tea and getting them ready for bed We have a weekly cleaner so only light household duties would be needed including cleaning up after the boys and the family washing. It is important that you enjoy cooking healthy meals and snacks - you would cook for the boys everyday (except Friday) and eat with them - leaving leftovers for us. We generally do not require help at the weekends, so feel free to explore the city/country.
