Afternoon Nanny – Wimbledon, South West London
Location: Wimbledon, London
Hours: Monday–Friday, 11:00am–7:00pm
Salary: £21–£22 gross per hour

A warm and welcoming single mum based in Wimbledon is seeking an experienced, proactive and nurturing nanny to support her family. The role involves caring for two lovely children: a busy and curious 1-year-old and a 4-year-old who will be starting school in September.

This is a long-term position with a family who are looking for a nanny who can become a valued part of their support network and provide consistency, warmth and engaging childcare.

Mum will be working in the home from around 2pm-6pm, as her work works alongside US hours, so in the mornings there would be more of a shared care element.
A housekeeper is already employed, so the role is focused entirely on the children's care and wellbeing.

Duties Include:
Sole-charge care of the 1-year-old during the day
School pick-up and after-school care for the 4-year-old from September
Planning fun, age-appropriate activities to support learning and development
Supporting routines, naps and developmental milestones
Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
Organising children's belongings and maintaining tidy play areas
Supporting bath and bedtime routines where required
Arranging outings, playdates and local activities

The Ideal Nanny:
Has previous experience caring for babies and preschool-aged children
Is warm, energetic, organised and genuinely passionate about childcare
Enjoys creating engaging and stimulating activities
Can confidently manage the differing needs of two young children
Is reliable, flexible and able to work independently
Speaks Spanish (highly desirable but not essential)
Holds an up-to-date DBS and relevant childcare qualifications
