Support Worker / PA – Addlestone, KT15
A rewarding opportunity to support Amir, 42, an active and sociable man with Cerebral Palsy and a Learning Disability, helping him maintain his independence and enjoy a busy lifestyle. Earn up to £19.00 gross per hour.
Location: Addlestone, KT15
Pay: £18.00 weekdays | £19.00 weekends/bank holidays | £12.21 sleeping nights (gross per hour)
Start: Mid to end July
Hours: Monday 9:00pm – Thursday 9:00am, including 3 sleeping nights (Tuesday start may be considered)
Driver: Essential – full UK manual licence required; Motability vehicle provided on duty
Essential: Experience supporting adults/young people with cerebral palsy and/or learning disabilities, confident swimmer, clear spoken English, non-smoker/vaper.
About Amir:
Amir, 42, lives independently with PA support and enjoys swimming, the gym, drama, singing, cycling, theatre, concerts, and football. He has spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy and a moderate learning disability, walks with support and values independence, routine, and good company.
The Role:
Support Amir with daily living, cooking, shopping, home exercises, cleaning, and attending activities and events. The role is active, varied and focused on encouraging independence while providing support where needed. Sleeping nights are included, though overnight support is rarely required.
