Job Summary:
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Housekeeper seeking a long-term position within a welcoming and well-organised household. The family are looking for a discreet, reliable, and child-friendly candidate who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a professional household team.

The property is a luxurious four bedroom, four bathroom home arranged over a single floor. Working alongside an additional Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring the home remains immaculately presented and running smoothly on a daily basis.

The family spend each summer at their home in the South of France and are seeking a candidate who is happy to accompany them during this period for one month (this applies to live in candidates only)

The successful candidate will undertake a wide range of housekeeping duties, maintaining the household to an exceptional standard while working collaboratively with the existing Housekeeper.

This role would suit an experienced private household professional who is confident caring for luxury finishes and furnishings and who enjoys creating a clean, organised, and welcoming home environment.

Live in Option:
Salary - £55,000 to £60,000 gross per annum
• Tuesday: 15:00–21:00
• Wednesday–Saturday: 10:00–21:00

Live out Option:
Salary - £57,200 gross per annum
• Wednesday–Saturday: 10:00–21:00

Job specification:
• Daily cleaning and tidying throughout the home
• Laundry and ironing
• Wardrobe management and organization
• Changing bed linen and preparing bedrooms
• Hoovering, dusting, polishing, and general household upkeep
• Caring for marble, gold finishes, delicate fabrics, and luxury furnishings
• Deep cleaning as required
• Organising household spaces and storage areas
• Receiving deliveries and ensuring items are put away appropriately
• Working closely alongside another Housekeeper to maintain the home to a high standard

Candidate specification:
• Previous experience within a similar role in a UHNW private household
• Confident caring for luxury materials, fine furnishings, and specialist surfaces
• Discreet, professional, and trustworthy
• Team player who enjoys working collaboratively with household staff
• Child-friendly and happy working within a family environment
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
• EU or British passport required for travel – for live in candidates only
• Happy to travel with the family to the South of France for approximately one month each year – for live in candidates only
• Seeking a long-term position within a private household
