The Role

Hummingbird Homestaff is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a lovely family based in Sevenoaks who are seeking a warm, engaging, and reliable temporary Nanny / Light Housekeeper to support them throughout July and August. The role centres around the care of a happy and energetic 3½-year-old boy, with some light household duties to help keep the family home running smoothly. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a genuinely kind and welcoming family who are looking for someone nurturing, proactive, and fun.

Childcare Responsibilities
Providing attentive and engaging care for a 3½-year-old boy
Planning age-appropriate activities, play, and outings
Supporting learning and development through play
Preparing meals and snacks for the child
Maintaining routines throughout the day
Ensuring the child's safety and wellbeing at all times
Light Housekeeping Duties
Keeping children's areas tidy and organised
Children's laundry and wardrobe organisation
Loading and unloading the dishwasher as required
Tidying kitchen and living areas used during the day
General light household support to assist the family
The Ideal Candidate
Has previous nanny or childcare experience
Is warm, caring, and genuinely enjoys working with young children
Is reliable, organised, and proactive
Has excellent communication skills
Is happy to assist with light housekeeping duties alongside childcare
Holds a valid DBS certificate (or is willing to obtain one)
First Aid qualification desirable
