Temporary Afternoon Nanny – Kensington, London

Hours: Monday to Friday, 1:00pm–7:00pm (30 hours per week)
Salary: £22 gross per hour

A warm and welcoming family based in Kensington is seeking an experienced, caring, and proactive temporary nanny to support them during an exciting family transition as they welcome a new baby in early July.
The role will focus primarily on the care of their happy and energetic 2-year-old child, providing engaging activities, a nurturing routine, and practical support throughout the afternoon and evening.

Duties will include:
Sole and shared care of a 2-year-old child
Planning and supervising age-appropriate, stimulating activities both at home and outdoors
Supporting the child's learning, development, and social skills through play
Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the child
Tidying up after meals and activities and keeping children's areas organised
Accompanying the child to local parks, classes, and outings where appropriate
Assisting with the afternoon and evening routine
Bath time and bedtime preparation
Helping maintain a calm, positive, and structured environment within the home
Undertaking standard nursery duties relating to the child

The ideal candidate will:
Have previous experience caring for toddlers
Be warm, engaging, and confident supporting a child through the arrival of a new sibling
Be proactive in planning fun and educational activities
Have excellent references and an enhanced DBS check
Hold a current Paediatric First Aid certificate
Be reliable, organised, and professional
