The family have employed a full time nanny for the past four years and are now looking for a long term Nanny Housekeeper as their two boys transition into full time school and nursery. This role would suit someone who enjoys balancing childcare with household support and is looking to become a valued part of a family

Job Summary:
A lovely family based in Wanstead are seeking an experienced Part-time Nanny Housekeeper to care for their two boys aged 2 and 5 years old. The children are described as happy, energetic, and affectionate, and the family are looking for someone warm, reliable, and proactive who enjoys engaging with young children whilst also helping to keep the household running smoothly.

The role will involve school and nursery drop-offs and collections, caring for the children before and after school, preparing healthy meals, and undertaking housekeeping duties whilst the children are at school and nursery. The family are looking for a candidate who can work independently, use their initiative, and build a long-term relationship with the family.

The family home, nursery, and school are all within walking distance of Wanstead Underground Station, therefore no driving is required.

Days and Hours:
Monday and Tuesday – 7:45am to 6pm
Wednesday OR Thursday – 7:45am to 9am OR 4:30pm to 6pm


Job specification:
• Taking the children to nursery and school each morning
• Collecting the eldest child from school at 4:30pm
• Collecting the youngest child from nursery
• Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
• Supporting the children's daily routines and wellbeing
• Organising age-appropriate activities and play
• Occasionally caring for the children if they are unwell on scheduled working days
• Providing additional support during school holidays when required
• Babysitting opportunities available if desired
• Batch cooking healthy family meals
• Laundry and ironing
• Light housekeeping duties
• Household organisation and tidying
• Ensuring children's belongings and areas are kept organised
• Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the household

Candidate specification:
• Previous experience caring for toddlers and young children
• Experience in a combined Nanny Housekeeper role preferred
• Warm, caring, and engaging personality
• Reliable, organised, and proactive
• Confident managing childcare and household duties simultaneously
• Enjoys cooking healthy meals
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent references
• Able to work independently and use initiative
• Looking for a positive long term role with a family

Enhanced DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
