AH169: Derby Daily Nanny (Mon–Fri)

Overview:
Warm, professional daily nanny needed to support a traditional Muslim household in Derby with three children (girls 10 & 7; boy 2). This role is focused on stabilising the weekday routine with a mix of sole charge and shared care.

Location:
- Derby (live-out)

Start date:
- ASAP (subject to solicitor/funding approval)

Hours:
- Full-time: 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Likely start around 7:30am (some flexibility required to support the family’s routine and appointments)

Key responsibilities:
- Morning routine support and preparing children for the day
- **School and nursery runs** (driver essential)
- Mid-morning support at home, as required
- Afternoon wraparound care: pick-ups, after-school routine, and supporting attendance at mosque classes
- Plan age-appropriate activities and support learning/homework for the older children
- Provide calm, consistent care and emotional support for the children during a period of family change
- Light child-related duties during quieter periods:
- Children’s laundry
- Keeping bedrooms/play areas tidy
- Simple food preparation / meal support for the children (as required)

Candidate requirements:
- Proven nanny experience with similar age ranges (toddler + school-age)
- Confident driver (essential)
- Warm, calm, reliable, and highly organised
- Comfortable working alongside a parent recovering from a serious medical event, with fluctuating energy levels in the household
- Respectful of a traditional Muslim household (including prayer routines and mosque classes)
- Up-to-date DBS, Paediatric First Aid, Right to Work in the UK, and excellent references

Compensation (guidance):
- £20–£22 gross per hour (potentially up to £25 gross per hour for the right profile / final scope)
- Estimated annual gross salary guide: £52,000–£65,000 DOE
