AH 170: Derby Weekend Nanny (Sat & Sun)

Overview:
Weekend nanny required to provide consistent childcare cover across both weekend days in a busy household with three children (girls 10 & 7; boy 2). The role will support parents by taking lead responsibility for the children’s care, routine, and activities across the weekend.

Location:
- Derby (live-out)

Start date:
- ASAP (subject to solicitor/funding approval)

Hours:
- Saturday and Sunday: 7:00am–7:00pm

Key responsibilities:
- Sole charge childcare at times, and shared care with parents at other times
- Manage the children’s daily routine across the weekend (meals, naps/rest, outings, transitions)
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities (indoor/outdoor), including local outings
- Support the older children with any weekend homework/reading routines as needed
- Encourage positive routines and provide calm emotional support, particularly given current family health pressures
- Light child-related duties during quieter periods:
- Children’s laundry
- Keeping bedrooms/play areas tidy
- Simple food preparation / meal support for the children (as required)

Candidate requirements:
- Proven nanny experience with similar age ranges (toddler + school-age)
- Driver strongly preferred (and may be essential depending on final duties)
- Warm, calm, reliable, and confident managing three children
- Comfortable working in a household with ongoing health needs
- Culturally aligned with and respectful of a traditional Muslim household (including prayer routines and mosque classes)
- Up-to-date DBS, Paediatric First Aid, Right to Work in the UK, and excellent references

Compensation:
- Estimated annual gross salary guide: £14,560–£18,200 DOE (based on 24 hours/week)
- Gross hourly guide: £20–£22 (potentially up to £25 for the right profile / final scope)
