A wonderful opportunity has arisen for an experienced and proactive Housekeeper/Nanny to join a warm and welcoming family in their beautiful home in Virginia Water. This is primarily a housekeeping position, with only light childcare support required before and after school, making it ideal for a candidate who genuinely enjoys maintaining a home to a high standard whilst being comfortable around children.



The family currently employs two other household staff members who work on different days, and they are seeking a reliable and organised individual who can work independently, take initiative, and take pride in keeping the home clean, organised, and running smoothly. The childcare element of the role is minimal and will primarily involve helping the children with breakfast, encouraging them to get ready for school, and preparing snacks or simple hot meals after school.



The successful candidate will be warm, professional, and discreet, with previous experience working within private households. Strong housekeeping, laundry, and organisational skills are essential, as the role will be heavily focused on maintaining the home to an excellent standard. The family is looking for someone who can seamlessly become part of their household and who takes ownership of their responsibilities without requiring supervision.



Working Monday to Friday, with a 40-hour working week from 10:00 am–6:00 pm, although these are likely to change to 8:00 am–4:00 pm from September onwards. This is a live-out position offering a fantastic long-term opportunity within a respectful and appreciative family environment. A driving license would be preferred.



DUTIES TO INCLUDE:

· Full housekeeping duties, including cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and maintaining all rooms to a high standard

· Laundry, ironing, garment care, and wardrobe organisation

· Changing bed linens and ensuring bedrooms and bathrooms remain beautifully presented

· Maintaining an organised, tidy, and welcoming home environment at all times

· Monitoring household supplies and informing the family when replenishment is required

· Assisting with breakfast preparation for the children

· Encouraging the children to get ready for school and supporting morning routines

· Preparing snacks and simple hot meals after school

· Taking initiative to identify tasks that require attention

· Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the household



ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

· Proven experience working within HNW or UHNW private households

· Excellent housekeeping and laundry skills with strong knowledge of luxury fabrics and finishes

· Comfortable supporting children as part of a household role

· Experience caring for delicate garments, including cashmere and designer clothing

· Strong attention to detail and exceptionally high standards

· Able to work independently and confidently without supervision

· Warm, friendly, and approachable personality

· Proactive, organised, and self-motivated

· Professional, discreet, and trustworthy

· Excellent command of spoken English

· Right to live and work in the UK

· Excellent checkable references
