Full Time Nanny, West Bridgford, Nottingham

A warm and welcoming family in West Bridgford, Nottingham are seeking an experienced, nurturing live out nanny to become a trusted and valued part of their household. The role will primarily involve caring for their 8-month-old baby on a mixed sole charge and shared care basis. The family also have a 3-year-old, who will be at nursery four days a week from September. This job is based in the desirable area of West Bridgford, Nottingham, with easy access to Nottingham city centre and surrounding areas of Beeston, Derby and Leicester.

The family are looking for someone to ideally start in August on a part-time basis (30 hours per week, 9am-3pm), increasing to full-time hours from September (45 hours per week, 7.30am-4.30pm).

They are seeking a nanny with strong baby experience and at least 2 years’ nannying experience. The ideal candidate will be loving, caring, reliable, and bring positive energy into the home. A confident team player who communicates well with parents will be a great fit. The family has 2 small spaniels, so the nanny must be comfortable around pets.

The role will include planning engaging, age-appropriate activities at home and out and about, supporting developmental milestones including weaning, and taking baby to local classes in partnership with parents. Nursery duties include preparing meals, managing baby’s laundry, sterilising bottles, and keeping children’s areas tidy and organised. Occasional light housekeeping may also be required. Occasional travel may be needed by prior agreement.
