Description:
An experienced, warm, and professional family in Berlin is seeking a part-time nanny (20–25 hours per week) for their two children, aged 7 and 4. The family has experience employing nannies long-term and values respectful, communicative, and reliable working relationships. This is a stable, well-structured role with a predictable weekly rhythm in a calm and organised household. Given the children's young ages, the family would welcome a nanny who enjoys an active, hands-on role and is ideally seeking a longer-term commitment.



Duties:
School and kindergarten pick-ups using the family's e-cargo bike
Engaging the children in age-appropriate, screen-free activities
Supporting homework, creative play, and extracurricular interests
Preparing simple meals and snacks
Children's laundry and organisation of toys and play areas
Keeping the kitchen tidy after use
Occasional babysitting (1–2 evenings per month)


Travel:
Occasional travel may be offered (e.g. Paris, 1–2 times per year) and is entirely optional.

Additional Information:
20–25 hours per week
Candidates should ideally be available for an in-person trial during the first two weeks of August.
Central Berlin location with excellent public transport links
Public transport ticket and annual bonus provided
The role is approximately 80% childcare and 20% light household duties, with no heavy cleaning required (a housekeeper is employed)


Requirements:
Native English speaker (essential)
Childcare qualification (essential)
Non-smoker (essential)
German at B1–B2 level preferred
Minimum of 1–5 years' relevant childcare experience
Confident swimmer preferred
Musical ability would be an advantage
Organised, reliable, proactive, and comfortable working independently within a structured family environment
Ideally seeking a long-term position

Hours/days:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 14:30–18:00 and Friday: 13:30–18:00
Occasional additional hours during selected school holidays (planned in advance)
Occasional babysitting (1–2 evenings per month).
