This is a wonderful opportunity to join a warm, dynamic, high profile creative family who spend 2 to 3 months in London each summer.

The successful candidate will work alongside very hands on parents, another experienced nanny and the wider household team to provide exceptional care for three children aged 3, 5 and 8, with their fourth child due in early 2027.

This is a shared care position working alongside another experienced nanny. Your primary responsibility will be the youngest child and, following the birth, the new baby, while also supporting the older children after school, during holidays and whenever required.

The family follows a gentle, respectful, child led parenting approach, encouraging creativity, outdoor play and minimal screen time. They would particularly welcome someone familiar with Waldorf principles or other holistic childcare philosophies.

The family spends each summer in London but is based in Los Angeles for the remainder of the year. The successful candidate must therefore be happy to relocate to Los Angeles, where excellent live in accommodation, a car and visa support will be provided. The role is offered on a UK contract and paid in GBP.

**The Role**

• Working alongside the parents, another nanny and the household team.
• Planning engaging, age appropriate, child led activities, outings and creative play.
• Supporting the children's emotional wellbeing, learning, independence and development.
• Maintaining structured but flexible routines.
• Preparing fresh, healthy meals and snacks.
• Completing all nursery duties, including children's laundry, wardrobes and keeping bedrooms, play areas and equipment organised.
• Driving the children to school, activities and appointments (car provided).
• Supporting bedtime routines and occasional overnight care.
• Packing and organising everything the children need for travel.
• Travelling internationally with the family 4 to 6 times per year.

**Newborn Responsibilities**

• Providing confident newborn care from birth.
• Supporting feeding, sleep routines, weaning and developmental milestones.
• Managing all nursery duties for the baby and maintaining baby equipment.
• Keeping records of feeds, naps, medication and development if requested.
• Supporting positive sibling relationships as the new baby joins the family.

**Essential Requirements**

• Minimum 7 years' experience in a comparable private household nanny role with excellent, checkable references.
• Extensive newborn experience.
• Full driving licence and confident driver.
• Valid DBS check.
• Experience within a fully staffed household is advantageous.
• Qualifications in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Waldorf education or another childcare related discipline are highly desirable.
• Happy to relocate to Los Angeles for most of the year and spend 2 to 3 months in London each summer.
• Comfortable travelling internationally and flexible to provide additional support when required.
