The Role:
A HNW family based in Greenwich is looking for an experienced nanny-housekeeper to join their household team. This is primarily a housekeeping role — approximately 70% of the day-to-day duties involve maintaining a large, well-run private home across 5 bedrooms and 3 floors — with a childcare element centred around their teenage son, as their older teenager will soon be moving out. Though the son is at home, he would only require support with school drop-offs, meals and occasional babysitting. There would also be running of errands and some household admin.

The family operate a rota nanny system for their children’s primary care, and the nanny-housekeeper will be expected to cover for the rota nannies during annual leave periods, with a minimum of three weeks’ notice given in advance. The rota nannies work a rotating pattern of 2 days on / 5 days on, with 24-hour overnight cover arrangements in a separate self-contained flat. The nanny-housekeeper will work alongside this team, primarily focused on the home, with cover duties for the son when needed. This is an excellent role for someone super organised who genuinely loves housekeeping and takes pride in running a private home to a high standard, with the added element of caring for one child.

Key Responsibilities:
Housekeeping (primary focus):
• Deep cleaning of a large private home — 10 rooms, 5 bedrooms across 3 floors
• Daily tidying and maintenance of all communal and lived-in areas
• Laundry, ironing and changing bed linen
• Running household errands in the car — grocery shopping (e.g. Waitrose), supply runs and deliveries
• Running errands in the car to the family’s second property nearby when required
• Charging and moving family cars as needed

Childcare:
• School drop-offs for son as required
• Preparing meals and snacks for son
• Babysitting for son — 1 to 2 evenings per week
• Covering for rota nannies during annual leave

The Household:
This is a private household with an existing rota nanny team. The rota nannies work a rotating pattern of 2 days on / 5 days on, with 24-hour overnight cover arrangements in a separate self-contained flat. The nanny-housekeeper will work alongside this team, primarily focused on the home, with cover duties for the son when the rota nannies are on annual leave.

The Ideal Candidate:
