Exciting Opportunity – Nanny / Family Assistant (Chelsea, London)
Our clients are seeking an experienced, proactive, and caring Nanny / Family Assistant to join their warm family in SW London, starting September.
The family has three children - boys aged 3, 5 & 9 years and is open to considering either a long-term nanny (or a temporary nanny from September until the New Year while they continue their search for a permanent candidate).
The Role
• Monday to Thursday
• Approximately 40 hours per week - hours tbc.
• Start date: September
This is a varied role that combines hands-on childcare with family assistant duties. During school holidays, the role will be primarily childcare-focused. Throughout term time, there will also be responsibility for supporting the smooth running of the household through a range of PA-style tasks.
Key Responsibilities
• Providing attentive care for all three children, with the primary focus on the educational needs of the children such as reading, music, HW, table etiquette.
• Handling school pick-ups, accompanying children to after-school activities, assisting with homework, and addressing other developmental needs.
• Managing the evening routine.
• Preparing healthy, nutritious meals.
• Planning children's holiday activities, music lessons, sports, buying and organising sports kits/uniforms.
• Supporting the family with administrative tasks including:
- Managing paperwork
- Booking travel and accommodation
- Arranging appointments
- Handling deliveries
- Running errands
- Planning meals and ordering groceries.
** Travel with the family - 4 weeks of the year is essential **
The family employs additional household staff who support the management of the children's schedules and routine.
The Ideal Candidate
The parents are looking for someone who builds positive relationships with all three children. They value kindness, encouragement, and good manners. They seek a nanny who can strike the right balance between fun, learning, and guidance to motivate hard work and structure rather than being overly authoritative. They are seeking someone with English as their mother tongue language.
The successful candidate will be:

• Works well with other household staff. Team work, transparency and flexibility are essential.
• Highly organised and proactive, with a genuine can-do attitude.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules.
• Able to stay one step ahead and anticipate the family's needs.
• A confident cook for children's meals.
• A confident driver with a full driving licence, experience driving children in London is highly desirable.
