Nanny – Live-In or Live-Out | Virginia Water

We are looking for a wonderful, energetic and warm nanny to join our family and help us raise our two children, aged 4 and 5. The position can be live-in or live-out, depending on what works best for the right person.

This is much more than simply a nanny position. We are looking for someone who wants to become an important part of our family and enjoy a life filled with adventure, travel, fun and new experiences, while playing a meaningful role in our children’s lives.

We are an active family based in Virginia Water, Surrey. We travel regularly to exciting places and always seem to have something fun going on.

Our previous nanny was with us for four years and recently left to start her own family. She had an amazing experience with us and became very much part of our family. We would love to find someone who can build that same kind of long-term relationship with us and our children.

The Role

The position is approximately 40–45 hours per week, primarily covering mornings before school, after school, evenings and weekends.

Some flexibility is important due to our lifestyle, but travel and overnight commitments will always be agreed in advance and paid additionally. This includes travelling with us or staying with the children while we are away or out.

We are ideally looking for someone with a background or qualification in education, early-years learning, childcare or a related field.

Someone who is:

* Confident teaching good manners, independence and healthy habits
* Proactive, organised and responsible
* Comfortable with international travel
* Happy to cook and prepare meals
* Comfortable helping with light household duties

Household responsibilities include children’s laundry, keeping their rooms and belongings organised, grocery shopping, cooking, tidying, and packing/unpacking for trips. We would love someone who takes initiative and approaches family life as part of a team.

Travel & Accommodation

Travel is an important part of our family life. Due to frequent and sometimes short-notice international travel, candidates must have the appropriate UK passport/travel status to travel easily with our family.

We are happy to consider live-in or live-out candidates. For a live-in nanny, we provide a private annex apartment, giving you your own space and independence.

If you prefer to live out, the annex will be available for your private use whenever overnight stays are required.

A car is also available for use as part of the position.

Start Date

We are looking for someone to start from September, but we can be flexible for the right person.
