THE ROLE
My client are looking for a warm, capable and reliable nanny to care for their two daughters during the afternoon each weekday.
The Nanny would collect the youngest from Nursery at 12:45pm each day, bring her home for lunch and her afternoon nap, before collecting their eldest from school later in the day.
Both parents work, so are looking for someone who is confident managing the afternoon independently, keeping the girls happy, fed and settled while maintaining a calm, organised home environment.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES
Your role will include:
• Collecting the girls from Nursery, school and after-school activities (all within walking distance).
• Preparing and serving dinner for both children.
• Settling the youngest for both her afternoon nap and her 6pm bedtime each weekday.
• On Wednesdays, managing both girls through to bedtime independently.
• Looking after the girls’ laundry, bedrooms and play areas, and tidying up after meals and activities.
• Picking up occasional groceries or children’s essentials on the way home if needed.
• Occasionally working slightly later, and very occasionally staying overnight when both parents are away. These would always be agreed well in advance and paid separately.
This role does not include general household cleaning as the family employ a cleaner. The eldest child is at full time school in Henley and finishes at 3.30pm. There are afterschool activities 3 days per week which finish at 4.45pm. The youngest is at Nursery every day until 12.45pm and then has a nap at home.

The family are looking for someone genuinely confident caring for babies and toddlers, particularly when it comes to naps, routines and settling a one-year-old to sleep independently.
Everything is within a short walk of their home, so a car is helpful but not essential. Below is an example of the weekly schedule.
