A warm and welcoming family in Leyton (E10) is seeking a caring, energetic and nurturing nanny to become a long-term part of their family.

They have a 9-week-old baby boy and a 3-year-old daughter, and are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys supporting children's development through creative play, outdoor adventures and a calm, nurturing approach. Personality fit is key, and they're keen to find someone who wants to grow with the family over the coming years.

Initially, the role will be 12-15 hours per week, with flexibility around the exact days and times. This will include care for the baby on two weekdays and both children for one weekday evening while one parent remains on parental leave. This gradual start allows everyone to build a strong relationship before the role expands.

From around May next year, the position will increase to a permanent 40-hour-per-week role. The family is open to discussing either a live-in or live-out arrangement. Their son will attend nursery three days per week alongside his sister, who will start school the following September. The role will include sole-charge care, nursery and school collections, planning engaging activities, children's household organisation and all general nursery duties.

The ideal nanny will be warm, reliable, proactive and genuinely passionate about working with children. Someone who enjoys taking children to parks, classes and local activities, while creating a fun, safe and stimulating environment, would be a wonderful fit.

Salary: £18-£25 gross per hour (DOE)
Care: Shared care initially, progressing to mostly sole charge
