A very lovely, formal family in Riyadh are seeking a highly experienced, career Maternity Nurse / Baby Nanny to support them with their 4-week-old baby boy. The position has become available at short notice, and the family are therefore seeking someone who can start ASAP.

The family are first-time parents and are looking for someone exceptionally experienced who can provide knowledgeable, reassuring support and guidance throughout the newborn stage and beyond, while working collaboratively and respectfully alongside them. Both parents are keen to be actively involved in their son’s care and would value someone who can confidently share their expertise while allowing them to remain closely involved in his day-to-day routine.

The initial booking will be for six months, with a salary equivalent to £140,000 gross per annum, paid pro rata. There may also be the opportunity for the position to continue on a longer-term basis for the right person, should this be mutually desirable.

You will work 12-hour shifts, six days per week, as part of a two-person maternity care team. You will work alongside another Maternity Nurse / Baby Nanny, sharing responsibility for both day and night cover and rotating as required to ensure consistent, high-quality care. Flexibility is essential, as the role will involve a mixture of day and night shifts depending on the agreed rota and the baby’s needs as he develops.

You will provide high-level newborn care, responding sensitively to the baby’s individual needs and supporting feeding, sleep and the gradual establishment of age-appropriate routines in line with the parents’ wishes. As first-time parents, they would particularly value someone who can offer advice and reassurance when needed, helping them navigate the different stages of their son’s development in a supportive rather than directive manner.

The role would suit someone highly organised, hygienic and naturally routine-focused, with the experience and confidence to anticipate the needs of a young baby. You will maintain an exceptionally clean, calm and well-organised nursery environment and continue to adapt the baby’s routine and care as he grows and develops.

The family travel periodically, and you will be required to accompany them at times, providing consistent care across locations. You will also assist with packing and preparation for the baby when travelling, so flexibility, organisation and confidence working across different environments are essential.

This role requires extensive newborn and infant experience, ideally 20+ years within the field. Maturity, confidence and a genuine depth of practical newborn knowledge are highly valued. The family are looking for someone warm, discreet and highly professional who will integrate seamlessly into their household and provide an exceptional standard of care.
