A wonderful family based in Notting Hill are looking for an exceptional, experienced Nanny to care for their 15-month-old daughter.
This is a long-term opportunity for a highly capable Early Years professional who is warm, affectionate and nurturing, whilst also energetic, organised, proactive and confident in their knowledge of child development. The role will be a mixture of sole and shared care. Mum is at home several days a week but is in and out, so the ability to work seamlessly alongside a parent, whilst also being confident taking the lead, is essential. The family are looking for a genuine team player who communicates well and uses excellent judgement.

The Role
You will take a genuine interest in the little girl's development and create a stimulating, nurturing and age-appropriate environment as she grows.
Responsibilities will include:
Providing warm, attentive and responsive care
Planning engaging activities and outings to support her development
Supporting her emerging independence and confidence
Preparing healthy meals and snacks
Establishing and maintaining appropriate routines
Taking an active interest in her early learning and development
Working collaboratively with Mum and the wider household
Travelling with the family internationally
Maintaining complete discretion and professionalism

The Ideal Nanny
The family would ideally like someone with an Early Years degree, Norland training or a similar relevant qualification, together with at least 4–5 years' professional experience caring for babies and toddlers.
You will be:

Highly organised and proactive, with the ability to plan ahead
Knowledgeable about child development and early years learning
A confident team player who works well alongside parents

Looking for a long-term position and genuinely committed to becoming an important part of the little girl's life
Italian language skills would be a bonus, given the family's Italian background, but are not essential.

International Travel
Travel is a significant part of this role, so the successful candidate must genuinely enjoy travelling and be happy to travel internationally.
The family regularly travel between the UK and Italy, weekends away, travel to the US. Travel will be more frequent during the summer and holiday periods.
You must therefore be confident caring for a young child away from home and comfortable adapting to different environments and schedules.
