Hours: Approx. 30 hours per week, Monday–Friday
Ideal schedule: 1pm–7/8pm, five days per week. There is flexibility around the exact structure for an outstanding candidate.
Salary: £25–£28 gross per hour DOE and qualifications

The Role
A warm and welcoming family are looking for an exceptional nanny to care for their baby girl, currently two months old. The ideal nanny will be nurturing, loving and naturally warm with children, while also being polished, professional and highly dependable. The family would love to find someone who takes genuine pride in their role and will form a close relationship with their daughter as she grows. Mum is planning to return to work in June 2027, with the baby starting nursery approximately one month beforehand. The nursery schedule is still TBC but is expected to be mornings only, with nursery pick-up currently around 1pm. The family also has a small, friendly dog.

Duties
- Establishing planning and maintaining age-appropriate routines & activities
-Taking her to classes, activities and appointments as required
-Preparing nutritious meals and snacks as she progresses through weaning
-Washing and sterilising bottles and feeding equipment
-Managing the child's laundry, clothing, nursery and belongings
-Helping with occasional errands and light household organisation
-Light household support may be required. A cleaner is employed.

The Ideal Nanny
Relevant childcare or early years qualifications would be strongly preferred, although experience, personality and family fit are equally important.

The family would love to find someone warm, nurturing, proactive and genuinely passionate about childcare, who is seeking a long-term role and would enjoy growing with the family. The ideal arrangement is 5 days, totalling around 30 contracted hours. As the baby begins nursery, the structure of the days may evolve, but the intention is for this to remain a secure, long-term role.
