A happy and busy family of four based near West Bridgford, Nottingham, are seeking a warm, reliable and proactive Nanny to join their household as soon as possible; this is a Part time role (around 30 hours per week). The family have two boys aged 8 and 10 who enjoy sports, outdoor activities, trips and organised activities.
The younger boy is neurodivergent and undertakes home-based learning. The family are looking for someone to provide daytime support and wrap-around care outside his teaching hours, spending time with him, encouraging play and organising fun and engaging activities. He has a tutor, so no teaching will be required.
The older boy attends a school (around 30 mins away) and may occasionally need collecting, so a confident driver with their own car is essential.
The role is essentially sole charge, although the parents sometimes work from home. The successful candidate should be positive, patient and understanding, confident working independently, and happy to prepare meals, organise outings and undertake standard nursery duties.
The position is for around 20 hours per week, with flexible days and hours. It is term-time only, with potential for additional holiday hours when the family are not travelling.
The family are seeking someone reliable who would enjoy becoming a trusted, long-term member of their household and who can offer some flexibility when needed.
