We are looking for a warm, reliable and proactive Spanish-speaking Family Assistant / Housekeeper to support our family and help keep our home running smoothly.

This is a varied, part-time role combining housekeeping, household organisation and after-school family support for two children aged 7 and 13.
The children are relatively independent, so this is not a traditional full-time nanny role. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working independently, balancing household responsibilities with the family's after-school needs and providing a warm, supportive presence for the children.

Working Hours
• Monday to Thursday
• 4.5 hours per day
• 18 regular hours per week
• Two additional babysitting evenings per month, on dates agreed in advance
• Babysitting hours will be paid separately at the agreed hourly rate
Main Responsibilities
Family and Childcare Support
• Providing a safe, warm and supportive presence for two children aged 7 and 13
• Supporting the after-school routine and accompanying the children to local activities or appointments when needed
• Speaking with the children in Spanish and encouraging natural Spanish conversation
• Preparing snacks and simple, healthy meals when required
• Supporting with homework or school routines where appropriate
• Helping the children with organisation and day-to-day routines

Housekeeping and Household Organisation
• Keeping the home clean, tidy and well organised
• Regular cleaning and tidying of the main living areas and bathrooms
• Laundry, ironing and putting clothes away
• Changing and making beds
• Keeping the kitchen clean and organised
• Maintaining children's bedrooms, belongings and shared spaces in good order
• General household organisation
• Occasional errands or household tasks as agreed

This role is focused on the day-to-day running of the home and maintaining a clean and organised household.
