Experienced Temporary Night Nanny required in Marylebone, London, providing overnight care for a 2-year-old from September to October 2026.

Job Summary

A family in Marylebone are looking for a warm, engaging and confident Night Nanny to support them with their 2-year-old while their regular nanny is away. The role will be from 7pm–7am, 6 nights per week. Mum would particularly value someone with excellent spoken English who can engage naturally with her daughter, reading stories, chatting and encouraging learning through play during the evening before managing her bedtime and overnight care. The family already have an established routine and are looking for someone who can come in, settle quickly and provide reliable support, allowing Mum to have a well-earned break. The family are happy to consider either a live-in or live-out candidate.

Job Specification
• Providing care from 7pm–7am, 6 nights per week
• Engaging with the child through play, conversation and reading
• Supporting age-appropriate learning through play
• Managing the evening and bedtime routine
• Providing overnight care and responding as required
• Undertaking appropriate child-related duties during working hours
• Following the family’s existing routines

Candidate Specification
• Experienced with toddlers
• Excellent spoken English
• Warm, engaging and confident
• Enjoys reading, playing and interacting with young children
• Comfortable managing bedtime and overnight care
• Able to settle easily into an established household
• Reliable, professional and flexible
