Job Summary
A lovely family based in Hampstead are seeking a warm, reliable and experienced after-school nanny to care for their 7-year-old daughter from Monday to Thursday.
The family have previously used temporary childcare but are now looking for someone who can provide consistency and a long-term commitment to the family.
The role will focus on after-school care, including school collection, homework support, activities and general childcare. The family are looking for someone dependable who will become a trusted and consistent part of their household.
Job Specification
Collecting the child from school.
Providing attentive and engaging after-school care.
Supporting with homework and reading.
Preparing snacks and simple meals.
Organising age-appropriate activities and play.
Taking the child to local activities, the park or on outings where appropriate.
Supporting the child's routine and development.
Keeping the child's areas tidy and organised.
Some dog walking may be required.
Working professionally around the family and household pets.
Candidate Specification
The ideal candidate will:
Have a minimum of 3 years' professional experience in a similar role.
Have strong experience caring for school-aged children.
Be warm, nurturing and engaging.
Be reliable, organised, and proactive.
Be confident supporting homework and educational activities.
Be able to provide consistency and commit to a long-term position.
Be comfortable working around dogs and cats.
Have excellent communication skills.
Have excellent checkable references and a valid DBS.
Have the correct UK right-to-work documentation.
Pets
The family have two cats and one dog, so the successful candidate should be comfortable around animals.
