A short-term Night Nanny role in King’s Cross, supporting first-time parents with their newborn baby for 1–2 midweek nights per week over an initial 6–8 week period.

Job Summary
A warm family based in a modern development in King’s Cross are looking for an experienced Night Nanny to provide overnight support. The family are looking for support for one to two nights per week, ideally midweek, primarily to help them manage the early weeks with a newborn and allow the parents to get some much-needed rest. Mum hopes to breastfeed, alongside expressed milk or formula for some night feeds, so they would particularly value someone who is confident supporting breastfeeding and working flexibly around the family's chosen feeding approach.

This would suit an experienced, calm and reassuring Night Nanny who is comfortable supporting parents sensitively while providing knowledgeable and practical newborn care overnight.

Job Specification
• Supporting feeds throughout the night, including breastfeeding, expressed milk and/or formula as required
• Settling and soothing baby between feeds
• Supporting healthy sleep foundations in an age-appropriate and gentle way
• Allowing the parents to gain as much rest as possible while ensuring baby is safely and confidently cared for
• Offering practical reassurance and guidance during the early newborn period

Candidate Specification
• Confident working independently overnight with a young baby
• Good understanding of breastfeeding support and combination feeding
• Knowledge of age-appropriate sleep foundations and newborn routines
• Calm, warm and reassuring approach
• Flexible and able to work around the parents’ preferred feeding and care approach
