ASAP Kensington Daily Nanny - from Jan/Feb Lancaster Gate live-in – Twins 16 Months.

A professional and experienced nanny is sought for a family with girl and boy twins aged 16 months. Currently based in Kensington, the position will initially be daily before the family move to Lancaster Gate in January/February when the role will become live-in.

This is a sole charge position working Monday to Friday 8am–6pm with an ASAP start. Additional babysitting will be required occasionally (approximately every 2 weeks). Both parents are Company Directors and work full-time.

The twins have been cared for by a maternity nurse from birth who was retained for an extended period and has established an excellent routine. The family would now like an experienced nanny to continue this consistency while introducing plenty of fun, stimulation and age-appropriate opportunities as the twins develop.

The nanny will take responsibility for all nursery duties, including preparing healthy meals for the children, maintaining their routine and organising their clothes, bedrooms and play areas. A proactive approach is important, with the nanny researching and recommending suitable classes, activities and outings and ensuring the twins enjoy an interesting, sociable and stimulating week.

The parents are looking for someone warm, fun and engaging, but equally professional, dependable and experienced with twins of this age. They would particularly value a nanny who is intuitive and able to read the room — confident taking sole charge while also recognising when the parents would like to enjoy uninterrupted time with their children.

Fluent English is essential with Spanish a definite bonus as the twins’ father is Spanish. No driving is required.

The household is well supported with a full-time housekeeper and a PA who manages the family diary allowing the nanny to concentrate entirely on the twins. There is also a well-trained spaniel who visits approximately once a month.

The parents travel from time to time, however, the nanny will not be required to accompany them (flexibility, not essential).

From January/February, when the family move to Lancaster Gate, private nanny accommodation will be provided comprising a bedroom with en-suite bathroom.
