Schedule: Initially 24/7 for the first 2 weeks, moving to 24/6 and eventually 24/5
Job Overview:
A lovely family is looking for an experienced, professional and caring Maternity Nurse to support them with their new baby, due in January 2027. The role will initially be based in Marylebone, London, before moving to Athens, Greece.
The family are looking for someone with a warm and loving approach who can work closely with the parents, providing guidance and support as they care for their new baby. The family also have four older children, aged 11 years (girl), 9 years (girl), 5 years (boy) and 2 years (girl), who have their own nannies.
The Maternity Nurse will initially work 24/7 for the first 2 weeks, before moving to 24/6 and eventually 24/5. When on duty, the Maternity Nurse will share a bedroom and bathroom with the baby. In London, a separate property will be available for the Maternity Nurse to use during time off. In Athens, there will be a separate room within the family home, away from the nursery, where they can rest.
The household is fully staffed. A driver is not essential. The family have no pets in their London home and have a dog in Athens.
Responsibilities:
Supporting the mother with establishing feeding and sleep routines.
Supporting the baby's development and providing age-appropriate care.
Bottle feeding the baby and supporting an appropriate feeding routine.
All nursery duties are required.
Working collaboratively with the parents to create a calm and enjoyable household.
Supporting the older children in building a positive bond with their new sibling.
Liaising appropriately with the parents and wider household staff.
Ideal Nanny:
Experienced Maternity Nurse with strong newborn experience.
Professional, caring and supportive in approach.
Warm and loving, with the ability to work closely with the parents.
Knowledgeable and confident in establishing newborn sleep and feeding routines.
Experienced in supporting infant development.
Comfortable working within a fully staffed household.
Comfortable around a dog when based in Athens.
