We are delighted to be recruiting two professional, experienced rota nannies for a warm and welcoming British/German family based in beautiful Salzburg. The family has 9-month-old twins. A boy and a girl. They are seeking nurturing, capable candidates who will support the children through infancy, their developmental milestones and the toddler years.
The Role
Working on a two week rotation, you will take full responsibility for the twins, providing attentive, loving care and creating a calm, stimulating environment in which they can thrive. The parents are hands-on and would love to welcome nannies who enjoy working collaboratively and feel comfortable with Mum being present.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide exceptional day to day care for the twins and attend to all nursery duties.
• Support every area of the children’s development, confidently guiding them through key milestones.
• Plan creative, age-appropriate activities and outings that are both fun and educational.
• Prepare healthy, balanced meals for the children.
• Establish consistent routines and confidently support the transition through toddlerhood, including potty training when appropriate.
• Maintain a safe, organised and nurturing environment.
• Travel with the family throughout the year, including on skiing trips and beach holidays.
The Ideal Candidates
The family is looking for knowledgeable nannies with substantial professional baby experience and a strong understanding of early-years development. You will be caring, calm and patient, with a warm, empathetic nature. Excellent communication skills, a highly organised approach and the confidence to use your initiative are essential. Creative candidates who can think outside the box and bring fresh ideas to the children’s days will be especially well suited to this role.
Working Pattern and Accommodation
During each two week duty period, you will work 12 hour days. A private apartment close to the family home will be provided. There will occasionally be periods of proxy parenting, when you will stay in the family residence.
