A lovely returning family in Ealing, West London, is looking for a full-time, live-in nanny to care for their two boys, aged 11 and 9.



During term time the hours are 7.30am to 10am and 3pm to 7.30pm, and in the school holidays they run from 7.30am to 7.30pm, with one night of babysitting a week (Monday to Thursday) included in the contract. An extra hour per day is required to walk the dog, this is included within the salary and can be done at your own discretion.



With both boys in full-time school, term-time days begin with breakfast and the school run and pick up again with collection, followed by activities or homework, supper and bath time. Once nanny duties are done, the nanny is welcome to use the free time during the day as they please, whether that's the gym or meeting friends, as long as they're available if the boys are unwell or in an emergency.



This is a busy, fun and loving household. Both parents work full time in demanding roles and would love an energetic, organised, affectionate and responsible nanny who can give the boys the attention and enthusiasm they can't during the week. They're looking for someone independent and confident taking the lead on activities, homework and meals, who communicates well and supports the family's parenting values. The role covers all standard nanny duties, including preparing the boys' meals and snacks, while a housekeeper comes in two full days a week to take care of all cleaning, including the nanny's quarters.



The boys are curious, bright, kind and well-mannered, and both are sport mad, loving football, rugby, swimming and tennis. The younger one is a dinosaur expert who loves to quiz the grown-ups, while the older one is a keen reader who often slips away with a good book. They enjoy trips to parks and museums, playdates and trying new things, but equally love a quiet cuddle and a story at the end of the day.



The nanny will be included on the family's memberships to London Zoo and Kew Gardens, and is welcome to join them on trips to their home on the south coast of Spain if they'd like. The nanny's fully furnished room sits on the top floor, away from the rest of the family, with a double bed, wardrobes, a seating area, a television and a large private bathroom with a bath and shower.



The family have recently welcomed a wonderful dog, and would love the nanny to take them for a half-hour walk each day and keep an eye on them around the house.
