Experienced Nightly Maternity Nurse required for a 4–6 week booking in Fulham, supporting first-time parents with their newborn and providing knowledgeable overnight care, guidance and reassurance.

Job Summary
Lovely first-time parents in Fulham are looking for a warm and experienced Nightly Maternity Nurse to support them as they settle into life at home with their new baby. They are keen to be hands-on and would really value someone who enjoys sharing their knowledge, offering practical guidance and reassurance while helping them build confidence in caring for their baby. They would like to follow baby’s cues initially, gradually working towards a gentle routine as the weeks progress. Mum is hoping to breastfeed, although the parents are keeping an open mind around feeding and would appreciate knowledgeable, non-judgemental support as they find what works best for Mum and baby.
The booking will begin with 5 nights per week for the first 2 weeks, reducing to 3 nights per week for the remaining 2–4 weeks.

• Providing experienced overnight newborn care
• Supporting feeding as required
• Winding, changing and settling baby overnight
• Following baby’s cues and gradually supporting a gentle routine
• Offering practical newborn guidance and reassurance
• Helping the parents build confidence with their baby
• Supporting positive sleep and settling habits

Candidate Specification
• Excellent newborn and Maternity Nurse experience
• Good breastfeeding and general feeding knowledge
• Warm, caring and reassuring
• Knowledgeable and confident sharing practical guidance
• A good teacher who enjoys supporting first-time parents
• Comfortable working with hands-on parents
• Gentle and flexible in approach rather than overly prescriptive
• Professional and reliable

Accommodation A spare room with a Moses basket will be provided for the Maternity Nurse and baby overnight.
