A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and highly professional housekeeper-nanny to join a warm and welcoming family in South Liverpool.
This is primarily a housekeeping position, with additional flexible childcare support for four children aged nine, five, three and one. It would suit someone who takes genuine pride in maintaining a beautiful family home while also being warm, capable and confident when caring for children of different ages.
The family is looking for a discreet, proactive and highly organised person who would like to become a trusted and valued part of their household on a long-term basis.
Working arrangements
The position offers 34 guaranteed hours per week:
• 24 core housekeeping hours, generally worked from 9am–3pm, 4 days per week ( Can be flexible on the days )
• 10 flexible nannying hours each week to support the family with childcare
• The nannying hours will vary and may include evenings, weekends or occasional overnight care
• Childcare requirements will be arranged in advance, with appropriate notice given
• Flexibility will be required for occasional babysitting, date nights, appointments, weekend childcare and overnight stays
• Occasional travel with the family will also be a requirement of the role
This arrangement offers the security of guaranteed hours alongside a varied and interesting working week.
Salary
• £22 gross per hour
• 34 guaranteed hours per week

Housekeeping responsibilities
The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day presentation, organisation and smooth running of the family home.
Duties will include:
• Cleaning and maintaining all areas of the home to an exceptional standard
• Caring appropriately for high-quality finishes, furnishings and surfaces
• Managing the family’s laundry and ironing
• Wardrobe organisation and the careful handling of delicate and designer garments
• Changing beds and maintaining household linen and towel supplies
• Keeping the kitchen, utility room and children’s areas clean, organised and well stocked
• Monitoring and replenishing groceries, household supplies and cleaning products
• Running household errands as required
• Preparing light, nutritious meals for the children when needed
• Preparing the home for guests, family occasions and entertaining
• Receiving deliveries and liaising with contractors
• Identifying and reporting any maintenance issues
• Keeping the children’s bedrooms, clothing and belongings organised
• Maintaining complete discretion and confidentiality at all times
