A two-day Temporary Nanny role in Maidenhead, Berkshire, caring for a nearly three-year-old boy, offering the flexibility of either daily or live-in care.

Job Summary
A lovely returning Eden family in Maidenhead are looking for a warm, experienced Temporary Nanny to care for their little boy while Mum attends work meetings and their regular nanny is unavailable. The little boy will be turning three in November and particularly enjoys books and reading. He has developed a real enthusiasm for recognising words and reading sentences, so the family would love someone who enjoys engaging with children through stories, conversation and age-appropriate learning activities. The family live close to a golf course, offering lovely opportunities for outdoor walks and fresh air. The role will be sole charge during the day, as the parents will be working. The family are flexible about whether the nanny works daily hours or stays overnight. If providing overnight care, the nanny should be comfortable following the little boy's familiar bedtime routine, which includes sitting beside him until he falls asleep.
There are no pets in the household, and the train station is approximately a 10-minute walk away.

Job Specification
• Provide sole-charge care for the little boy during the parents' absence.
• Plan engaging, age-appropriate activities.
• Encourage his enthusiasm for books, reading and early learning.
• Enjoy outdoor walks and play.
• Prepare and serve meals and snacks during working hours.
• Follow his established daily and bedtime routines.
• Manage general child-related duties.
