A short-term Nightly Maternity Nurse role in Chelsea, London, caring for a four-week-old baby girl and providing gentle, experienced overnight support, with the possibility of repeat bookings.

Job Summary
A family based in Chelsea are looking for a highly experienced and nurturing Nightly Maternity Nurse to care for their four-week-old daughter. Mum has enjoyed support from her own mother, who will shortly be leaving, and is now looking for a trusted professional to take responsibility for baby overnight, allowing her to enjoy some much-needed rest. The initial booking is for six consecutive nights, with the possibility of further bookings at a later date. The family would ideally like to establish a relationship with one maternity nurse who can return whenever additional support is needed, providing consistency and familiarity for both baby and parents. The family are particularly keen to find someone gentle, reliable and highly knowledgeable in newborn care. They would like to interview suitable candidates before confirming a booking and place great importance on experience, professional qualifications and excellent recent newborn references.

Job Specification
• Provide attentive overnight care for a four-week-old baby.
• Manage feeding, winding, changing and settling as required.
• Support safe sleep practices and gentle, age-appropriate routines.
• Ensure baby's comfort and wellbeing throughout the night.
• Allow Mum to rest, providing reassurance and support when needed.
• Maintain a calm, nurturing overnight environment.
• Undertake all baby-related duties during working hours.
• Potentially return for further overnight bookings.

Candidate Specification
• Highly experienced Nightly Maternity Nurse with excellent newborn knowledge.
• Proven experience in recent overnight newborn placements.
• Gentle, calm and nurturing approach.
• Confident providing sole-charge overnight care.
• Excellent, recent and checkable newborn-family references.
• Enhanced DBS and current Paediatric First Aid.
• Professional, reliable and discreet.
• Available for six consecutive nights from 6th November.
• Ideally available for potential future bookings with the same family.
