Governess-Governor
Governor / Governess for Three Children (8, 12 & 14) — Jumeirah 3, Dubai
AED 25K–35K per month
Afternoons & evenings, 14:30–21:30
Start Date: TBC
Ref: FG7089
EED is delighted to be representing a family based in Jumeirah 3, Dubai, seeking a warm, positive and academically strong Governor or Governess for their three children, aged 8, 12 and 14, all following the British curriculum.
The working day starts at 14:30 with collecting the youngest from school with the family driver, and runs until around 21:00–21:30. The role is primarily academic support across three different stages, alongside school coordination and a happy, structured routine at home.
The youngest, aged 8, needs homework and general school support, plus help with her after-school activities, including swimming and chess. Her sister, aged 12, attends a selective Dubai school and swims competitively. She needs academic support across history, literature, essay writing, science and geography; she already has an online maths tutor. Her training schedule means study time must be well organised and used efficiently. Their brother, aged 14, needs GCSE support.
The governor/governess will also coordinate with the children’s schools and keep the parents informed of progress. The family want someone who builds a genuinely good relationship with all three children, bringing a friendly, upbeat presence into the household.
