A warm and welcoming family in Sutton Coldfield is seeking a committed live-in junior nanny to join them from February 2025. They have two boys: the eldest will be 6 in January, and the youngest will be 9 months old when mum returns to work in March.
The family are also considering traditional au pairs (in which case baby would go into nursery).

Role Details:

Start Date: 1 February 2025
Hours: 40-45 hours per week (Tuesday-Friday, with some flexibility)
Pay: £420/gross NMW (open to consider reduced hours for au pair candidates.
Minimum Term: 1 year (longer term preferred)

Responsibilities:
~Assisting with school runs, which may involve taking the eldest child by bus.
~Supporting feeding via a small tube for the eldest child (full training provided).
~Caring for the baby, including engaging in age-appropriate activities.
~Performing light household tasks related to the children, such as tidying toys and preparing meals.

Candidate Requirements:
~Female, non-smoker, and ideally older (not a teenager).
~Open, honest, and an excellent communicator.
~Reliable and committed, with the flexibility to adapt to family needs.
~Comfortable adhering to a Muslim household’s dietary guidelines (no alcohol on the property and pork clearly labeled).

Accommodation:
Shared bathroom (the family home has two bathrooms).
Additional Notes:

The eldest child has short bowel syndrome but is a happy and sociable boy. His school manages most of his medical needs during the day, with only minimal feeding support required at home.
The family follows a Muslim diet and has no pets.
