Location: Barcelona
Start date: ASAP
Salary: 180 euro for night shifts and 350 for 24-hour shifts
Overview:
A warm and dynamic family based in Barcelona seeks a professional and experienced maternity nurse/nanny to care for their newborn twins. The ideal candidate will be a calm, confident expert with a proactive attitude, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to guide the new parents through this special time. The family values warmth, independence, and optimism and looks forward to working with someone who will feel like an extension of the family.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality care for newborn twins, focusing on their health, development, and emotional well-being.
Implement and manage effective sleeping and feeding routines, ensuring the twins' needs are met consistently.
Offer expert advice on newborn care, guiding and supporting the parents with confidence and clarity.
Nursery-related tasks such as bottle preparation, sterilisation, and maintaining a tidy environment.
Collaborate respectfully within the household and maintain high standards of hygiene and organisation.
Assist in the transition to a day nanny role as needed, adapting responsibilities accordingly.

Independence: Self-motivated and able to work autonomously while also being a thoughtful collaborator.
Experience: Proven experience with twins is a strong advantage
Confidence and Directness: A trusted expert who feels comfortable sharing advice and guidance, even if it means offering direct feedback.
Sleep Knowledge: Skilled in creating and maintaining effective sleeping routines for newborns.
Comfort with Pets: Comfortable around dogs; the family has a cocker spaniel, a beloved member of the family.
Cleanliness: Organised and tidy, with an awareness of maintaining a neat and orderly home.
If you are an experienced and compassionate childcare professional who aligns with the family's values and is excited to take on this role, we would love to hear from you.
